I teach an 8-hour course on the 4th, 5th, and 6th amendments that has been approved by the Mississippi Board on Law Enforcement Officers Standard and Training. It contains both Mississippi and federal case law. Due to overwhelming feedback from many students, I strongly recommend that this course be taught in two days. This is how it works. On day one, I teach the same first four hours of the course from 8am – 12pm and again from 1pm – 5pm. On day two, I teach the same last four hours of the course from 8am – 12pm and again from 1pm – 5pm. The LEO can then choose whether they want to attend the morning or the afternoon session each day.
